I heard this word the other day …. and it struck a chord with me.
Wholeheartedly
- Jesus wants us to seek Him wholeheartedly.
- Seek Him with all of who we are.
- Seek Him for all of who He is!
The Word of God says in Psalm 119:2, “Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart”
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. ~ Isaiah 55:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. ~ Hebrews 11:6
I love what Gwen Smith says in her graphic below:
“God does not want us to be religious.
He wants us to seek HIM and to know HIM.”
Wholehearted worship comes from our heart. When our heart is full of love for Jesus, we find ourselves able to worship Him wholeheartedly. Then we are able to really know Him!!
Jesus, I praise you for who you are, for what you have done in my life, for all the ways that you love me! You are worthy of all honor, worship and praise!! Amen
