Chosen

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. ~ 1 Peter 2:9

My husband and I support many ministries aimed at reaching Jewish people for Messiah Yeshua, and recently when reading an email from one ministry the author was speaking of the Jews as God’s chosen people.

I too have always thought of the Jewish people as God’s chosen people, but this day the Holy Spirit gave me a new revelation……

I too am part of the group of God’s chosen people!!  I am not Jewish by birth or otherwise, but I was redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb, and I am grafted into the group we commonly call God’s chosen people.

He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. ~ Galatians 3:14

Glory Halleluia!!

So whether you are Jewish or not, if you have put your trust in Jesus, Yeshua, you are one of God’s Chosen People!!

  1. Well hello, I am excited to see this. Yesterday was a busy day for me and I didn’t get on the computer too much last night. I have always had an uncanny thirst to learn more about the Jewish people, I have read all kinds of history and historic novels to glean any thing I could about them (especially around the WW II era). When I was a senior in High School, I did my term paper on the Nuremberg Trials. I looked at LOOK Magazine articles from that time. I am glad that I am one of God’s Chosen People. I don’t really know how I could cope with my life. God has gotten me through all of the trials I have had during my adult life. When my son had his heart surgeries back in the 70’s I found this Bible Verse.

    Romans 5:1-5 Living Bible (TLB)

5 So now, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith in his promises, we can have real peace with him because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 For because of our faith, he has brought us into this place of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to actually becoming all that God has had in mind for us to be.

3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us—they help us learn to be patient. 4 And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady. 5 Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
